Move around you’ is a visual surrogate for the bending and curving one performs to fit around more dominant structures and influences. I notice the confines of socially approved ideal figures, feel the pressure to present within the constraints of an idealised body and understand one’s need to re-work themselves in order to harmonise with the exterior. As ‘Move around you’ bends and warps, I correlate its contortion to hierarchal controls instigating physical repercussions on its consumers, its journey winding and unknown.
